Bullycide: What it is, and why it happens.

 

Bullycide is the act of one human being taking their own life as a result of being bullied by another person or group of people.

 

In these circumstances, the victim isn't called a victim. They are known as the 'Target'. This holds true for all victims of bullying. They are known as targets.

 

The methods used in bullycide are the same as those used in regular suicide; Overdose, bridges, self inflicted weapon wounds and so forth. The difference with 'bullycide' is, it's brought on by the violent, abusive, predetory or careless behavior of another person or people.

 

Bullying takes a target down a very ugly path of psychological torture. this leaves a target feeling worthless, humiliated, useless, in the way, a misfit, a failure, and a general feeling that they just don't belong.

 

These are undeserved feelings brought on by the actions of bullies. Actions that may include verbal abuse, insults, put downs, head games, cyber assault, cyber crimes, unfair / unequal treatment, psychological violence, meaningless promises, psychological assault, physical violence, assault and battery, being on the receiving end of famacide behavior, labeling, stalking and vandalism to personal property just to name a few things.

 

Some targets aren't as strong as other targets. Eventually they run out of rope in the battle of coping with these issues. Then the undeserved act of bullycide takes place. The target does this as the last resort in getting away from the bullying and psychological torture.

 

** Bullies Have The Ability To Cause Loss Of Life. ** Bullying is that serious, and needs to be stopped!

 

Think of a word that describes the loss of human life at the hands of another person's intentional violent, abusive and careless actions.
